OIConnect

The business platform for fibre infrastructure operators

All the versions of this article: [English] [français]

Run your fibre network. Streamline every operator exchange.

OIConnect brings together in a single interface your network repository, order journeys, INTEROP’FIBRE exchanges and after-sales service. Your teams share one view to coordinate operations and dialogue with commercial operators (OCs).

Your infrastructure, visible and actionable

Interactive mapping of PRDMs, PMs, PBOs and buildings: your network becomes readable at a glance, for all your teams.

  • Centralise the repository — PRDMs, PMs, links, PBOs, buildings, PTOs and optical routes in a structured base.
  • Master the business flows — Orders, appointments and after-sales follow clear, filterable and traceable journeys.
  • Connect your ecosystem — IPE/CPN files, FTP, REST APIs and web services to streamline OI–OC exchanges.

Four levers to better operate your network

1. Repository & mapping

Visualise and filter your equipment. Import your CSV data, manually or via FTP, and connect any network diagram tool through the available REST APIs.

2. End-to-end production

Manage Info PM, PB, link and access orders, as well as FTTH, FTTE and STOC appointments. Statuses, operators, connections and activations: follow every order at every step.

3. OI–OC interoperability

Automate exchange files and connect your IS through REST APIs and INTEROP’FIBRE services.

4. Operations & steering

Track orders, incidents and indicators. Adjust rights per module and diagnose rejections. Steer by data with Infrastructure, Access and After-sales indicators.

Interoperability at the heart of the IS

OIConnect supports the standardised protocols and flows of the fibre ecosystem:

  • IPE / CPN
  • FTP
  • REST APIs
  • OAPC
  • Change of operator (mutation)
  • After-sales (SAV)

A deployment adapted to your organisation

Use OIConnect in SaaS mode or on your own infrastructure. For an on-premise deployment, IPEOS studies feasibility and issues technical recommendations during the project. Deployment and support are provided by the IPEOS team according to the chosen contract.

Frequently asked questions

OIConnect is IPEOS’s business platform for fibre infrastructure operators. It brings together in a single interface the network repository (PRDMs, PMs, PBOs, buildings, PTOs, optical routes), order journeys, INTEROP’FIBRE exchanges and after-sales service.

An infrastructure operator (OI) deploys and operates a fibre optic network, then makes it available to commercial operators (OCs), who sell access to end customers. OIConnect equips this day-to-day OI–OC dialogue: repository, orders, appointments and after-sales.

INTEROP’FIBRE refers to the standardised exchange protocols and formats defined by the Interop’Fibre working group, which brings together infrastructure operators and commercial operators to govern their FTTH exchanges: access orders, appointments, after-sales, IPE/CPN files. OIConnect implements these exchanges natively.

OIConnect supports IPE/CPN files, FTP exchanges, REST APIs and web services, as well as the OAPC, operator-change and after-sales processes defined by the INTEROP’FIBRE protocol.

Info PM, PB, link and access orders, as well as FTTH, FTTE and STOC appointments — with tracking of statuses, connections and activations, filterable by operator.

Via CSV import, manually or through FTP. REST APIs also allow you to connect network diagram tools and the operator’s IS for automated synchronisation.

Both. In SaaS mode, the platform is hosted and operated by IPEOS. For a deployment on the operator’s own infrastructure, IPEOS studies feasibility and issues technical recommendations during the project.

Yes, rights are configurable per module, so each team’s access (production, after-sales, operations, steering) can be tailored to its scope.
